AI.PIN3 PARTY'S SUCCESS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Thursday. A successful ascent of the highest peak of Mount Earnslaw (9250 ft) ha« been made by four members of the Ne> Zealand Alpine Club, Mr. A. Jackson, of Timaru, Messrs. J. A. Sim and W. S. Gilkison, of Dunedin, and Mr. J. D. Knowles, of Invercargill. This peak was climbed once before this eeason by Messrs. H. F. Wright and James Robertson. The party ascended from the Dart Valley and reached the summit at 2 p.m. They obtained a magnifiee;K view.
