SUCCESS OF FREE LABOUB. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) HASTINGS, thk day. Using the chain system of killing and working with free labour, remarkable tallies were made at the Whakatu freezing works, of the Hawke's Bay farmers, and at the Tomoana works of Nelson's, Ltd., during December. Tomoana achieved a record for its whole career, killing 150,06\> lambs, 10,000 sheep and 1700 bodies of beef. Whakatu killed 127,000 lambs and 11,000 sheep.
