MOTUROA OILFIELDS.

LAST WEEK'S OPERATIONS. Moturoa Oilfields, Limited, report upon operations at New Plymouth for tlie week ending December 30 as follows:—Moturoa No. 3 well has been drilled to 1001 ft; Sin casing inserted to 960 ft. Drilling has been through a formation of sandy mudstone, with hard bands of sandstone. A small showing of gas occurred at 900 ft. No. 2 well produced 116 barrels (4060 Imperial gallons); total production to date, 299,139 Imperial gallons.
