ANTI-CYCLONE.

MOVING ACROSS TASMAN. WEATHER FORECAST. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Climatic disturbances have been advancing regularly of late from Australia, but losing energy as they approached New Zealand. These changes have been accompanied by low pressures in the tropics, without any strong currents of cold air from the south, causing war and humid weather, but without much storm activity. The forecast to-day shows that a slight anti-cyclone is moving on to New Zealand. Moderate west to south-west winds are predicted. A few local showers are likely, but the weather is improving and mostly fair, with, moderate temperatures, seas smooth on east coast and moderate on the west.
