RETURNED SOLDIERS.
NEW LYNN UNIT'S OFFICERS. At a meeting of the New Lynn unit of the Western Suburbs Returned Soldiers' Association, held in the St. Andrew's Hall, New Lynn, the election of officers resulted:—President, Mr. Mooney; secretary, Mr. Taylor; treasurer, Mr. Barnes; committee, Messrs. Owens, Taylor, Mooney, Barnes, Tierney, Craigie, Morris, Pearss and Morsheim; social committee, Messrs. Ric-hards and Smith; representatives ou the executive of the Western Subur'u6 R.S.A., Messrs. Owens and Taylor. It was stated that much assistance had been given members of the Western Suburbs R.S.A., and that the New Lynn unit would in future be in a better position to assist those of its members in need of a helping hand.
