(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The first general meeting of the Whangarei Amateur Athletic Club was held in the Technical School Building last night. The constitution of the club, as drawn up by the provisional committee, was amended and adopted. • Officers elected: —Patron, Mr. W. .Tones; president. Mr. A. R. Ryder; vice-president. Dr. H. F. Buckley; captain, Mr. A. L. Tresidder; secretary and treasurer. Mr. E. A. Collins; auditor, Mr. R. Donaldson; executive committee. Messrs. W. J. Glanville, D. A. Bird, A. Ross, and the principal officers. The first meeting will be held in the High School grounds on December 16.
