LECTURES IN AUCKLAND. | Two free lectures on Christian Science j are to be given in Auckland next week by Mr. Ralph B. Scholfiel'd, o£ London, under the auspices of the Board of Lectureship of the First Church of Christ, Scientist,] in Boston. Mr. Scholfield will arrive by j the Zealandia on Tuesday morning, and] on that evening will lecture in Hisi Majesty's Theatre. A second lecture will; be given in the Town Hall on Thursday evening. Last year 3639 authorised lectures on Christian Science were delivered throughout the world to audiences which approximated 3,427,711 people. Lectures ••re- delivered in English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian, and last year, for the first time, lectures were given in Athens, Rome, Batavia, Java, Bombay, and Calcutta.
