RAZOR BLADES.
MILLIONS AT DESTRUCTOR. (By Telegraph.—Fress Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Millions of razor blades of a wellknown make which have been held in bond in New Zealand, have been destroyed at the Clyde Quay destructor in the* presence of officers of the Customs Department and the New Zealand agent for the blades. Similar action has been carried out in many other parts of the world because of the advent of a blade of a new pattern. It waa. considered an honourable act to clear all markets of existing stocks. At Montreal, Canada, and Slough, England, machinery costing hundreds of thousands of pounds for making this particular form of two-edged blade has been dismantled, broken up and sunk ,at sea.
