DISTRICT NURSING.
TOUR BY BOARD MEMBERS. Members of the house committee of the Auckland Hospital Board, with several hospital officials, yesterday visited the nursing stations at the northern end of the board's district. The first call was at Silverdale, where Sister Faithfull has charge of a big area. A call was made at the Warkworth Hospital, and then at Wellsford, and the party went to Port Albert. The sister there has at times to use a boat or walk long distances to reach patients. On the tour nursing needs were discussed with representatives of the various districts.
