SATURDAY'S RESULTS,
In addition to the senior grade games played under the control of the Otahuhu Cricket Association on Saturday, the first matches in the junior section were played. The senior results were as follow:—
Kempthorne-Prosser v. Returned Soldiers. —Kempthorne-Prosser : First innings, 120 (Marflitt 60, W. Nield 38, Game 10). Challenge v. Railway.—Challenge : First innings. 108 (Clark 53, Holmes 18, Hynes 17, Housliam 10). Bowling: Kankin seven for 41, Lipscombe two for 27, Fielding one for 9. Railway: First innings. 30 (Grubh 11). Second innings, 34 (Wilson 12). Bowling: Bright 14 for 31, Connors two for 21, Hynes two for 9. A six-point win for Challenge by an innings and 3S runs.
Passenger Transport v. Borouch.—Passenger Transport: First innings, SO (Simm 20. Xjovell 17. Taylor 15, Duneen 13). Second innings, 33 for four wickets (Simm 12, Loveil li).
