ST. CUTHBERT'S OLD GIRLS.
A social evening was held by the members of St. Cuthbert's Old- Girls' Association in their club rooms in Chancery Lane on Saturday evening for those girls who are leaving St. Cuthberts College at the end of the year. Bowls of sweet peas and hydrangeas made the clubrooms . very gay, and prominent in the decorative scheme was the ; old _ girls' Items, games and competitions were enjoyed, the winners being Misses Joyce Neumegen, Molly Goodwin, Mary Macky, Effie Hardey, Trixie Abel, and Katie Melville. Misses Kathleen Teape and Westray contributed enjoyable items. During the evening strawberries and ices were served, and later a dainty supper. The committee in charge of the arrangements were Misses Val Roulston (president), Tory Johnson, Ena Potter, Helen Bews and Effie Hardley. Other members present were Mrs. Lowrie McGregor, Misses Helen Seabrook, Phyllis Gas?i, Isobel Wells, Gwen Hooper, Nancy Anderson and Margaret Shaw. Members of the association present were: Miss L. Clouston (principal), Mrs. Molly Yates, Misses Joyce Neumegen, Bhoda Robertson, Molly Noton, Mary Davis, Joan Potter, Shirley Watkins, Eileen Westray, Betty Seabrook, Lela Seabrook, Billie Jessup, Nancy Kendell, Mary Macky, Marjorie Innes, Betty Innes, Clare Dauby, Muriel Hull, Mavis Siddall, Ailsa Eose, Edith Gillan, Gwen Gardner, Flora Mackinnon, Molly Goodwin. The following were the prospective old girls: Trixie Abel, Isle Klinkmueller, Joyce Clark, Margaret Macky, Joan Crouch, Mary Shilson, Jean Adkin-s, Estelle Jefl'ery, Peggy Davis, Julie Orr, Joan Bayliss, Phyllis Eawson, Nancy Noy, Jeanette Potter, Frances Heron, Olga Sherriff, Betty Clark, Jean Chandler, Pat Grayson, Joan Houghton and Beryl Bowden.
