SETTLEMENT SOUGHT.
FREEZING WORKS DISPUTE, CONFERENCE TO-MORROW. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this day. In the hope of settling outstanding differences, a conference of representatives of freezing companies and workers will be held' in Wellington to-morrow. The Minister of Labour, the Hon. A. Hamilton, has already indicated that he will do everything within his power to assist the conflicting interests to come to a satisfactory arrangement.
