FIRE STILL BURNING.
HIKUBANGI COAL MINE.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) ' WHANGAREI, this day. The fire in the Hikurangi Company's mine is still burning, and the time when the mine will be ready for full work again is still indefinite. Spraying is being continued in the affected area, and the men are working getting the stoppings in. It is slow work, and it is not known when it will be completed. So far an inspection of the burning area has been impossible. Coal is being hewn in another section of the mine by a small number of men. t
