THE MOLLISONS IN FILMS

Of special interest at the present moment, when Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Mollison are breaking nearly every longdistance record in or around the Empire, is the news that a film featuring both the famous flyers will be screened in Auckland in the near future. This is "Dual Control," which was made at Elstree Studios by Walter Summers, one uf the finest of Britain's film directors. The film is essentially a. comedy of the air, and it is said that the Mollisons speak and act their part with an assurance all the more surprising as their only film experience comes from microphone and Press camera appearances, made invariably at the conclusion of some wearisome and gruelling long-dis-tance flight. "Dual Control" was filmed at Brooklands and Chertsey, and it is reported that a helicopter and an airliner were introduced into it to provide effect. Most interesting of all is the news that the faithful "Jason," which carried Miss Amy Johnson from England to Australia in 20 days, and from England to Tokyo in ten days, is given an important "role" in the production.
