POWER OF PRAYER.
I had listened to Mr. Dallimore times without number, as a fair critic. After thinking his teaching over I came to the conclusion that the best way to prove it was to yit for myself. I tried prayer for ime distressed friends I was unable . help myself. For three years they have been in need. Since my prayers, three weeks ago, each time the young man comes in to see me he tells of help they have received from various neighbours. He does not know I have been praying for them. They have never had friendly gifts before, or other help, as no one knew they were in need. Instead of worrying over my friends I am now using Mr. Dallimore's formula, " Prayer." It seems to me if all would make practical use of Christianity instead of a mere theory, or history, we would know the doctrine, and come to realise the reality of God's angel messengers and helpers that operate between God and humanity in answer to prayer. CONVINCEMENT. ,
