FREE KINDERGARTENS.

GARDENS FOR INSPECTION,

The beautiful rock garden at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Tattersfield, Mount Albert, was thrown open to the public under the "Glorious Auckland Gardens" scheme to raise funds for the Campbell Free Kindergarten on Saturday afternoon. Some 300 visitors attended, and the sum of £13 was taken at the gates.

Mr. and Mrs. Tattersfield, and Mrs. T. C. Savage, chairman of the kindergarten, received the visitors, who expressed great admiration at the rock garden and also at roses and other flowers which were on display.

Next Saturday afternoon "Roselands," the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Wilson, Portland Road, Remuera, will be open to inspection.
