FROZEN MEAT. PRICES AT SMITHFIELD. The New Zealand Meat Producers' Board has received the following cable from its London office, dated November 18, advising that tile following are the approximate average prices realised for fhe week, based on actual transactions of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of meat mentioned, and are for representative parcels of the goods offering during the week, being for business done on the basis of delivered to Smitlifield market and/or ex London stores: —

Lamb market: Very firm at increased prices. Home-killed meat also advancing, biii more slowly. Mutton: Wethers and ewes firm in sympathy with other meat. Beef: Trade slow at the advanced prices. New Zealand porker pies: Market steady at better prices. Baconers: Nominal.
LITTLE CHANGE IN WOOL. LONDON, November 19. The London representative of the Australian Woolgrowers' Council, Mr. W. P. Devereux, reports that there is little change in the wool markets. Offerings are not excessive, and this should strengthen prices at the opening of the sales in London next week. At Bradford the export of tops continues satisfactory. Merinos are firm. THE PRICE OF SILVER. LONDON, November 19. Silver is quoted at 18 l-16d per ounce for spot delivery and 18% d for forward. COTTON, RUBBER, JUTE, ETC. LONDON, November 19.
