The third » charge was that of stealing a typc--1 writer, valued at about £30, from I Manurewa School, and that after stealing it, threw it over a cliff. He pleaded [ guilty. Detective Sergeant Kelly said that \ Anderson did not appear to be quite , normal, and was an unsuitable person to , have around the countryside. When he ! had been asked to give his reason for . stealing the typewriter, he said that he "wanted to get one 011 to the liead- , master." He had been on probation for , I some time. Accused had told him that ' he "was tired of probation." Mr. McKean: Js that all you have to ! say'! Anderson: Yes.
