ALEXANDER MINES. Returns from the Alexander mines for October show that -104 tons won; spnt to the nattrry, and 414 tons crushed, for a return of 3600z lOdwt. The cyanide department treated during the same period 300 tons of sands for a return of V2i\o7. 14dwl of bullion. The total estimated value of this return is £1855 (exclusive of premium on sale of gold abroad and premium on exchange).
