MINOR ACCIDENTS.
SIX HOSPITAL CASES. OLD MAN PALLS FROM CART. A number of minor accidents occurred in the city late yesterday afternoon, and six people were taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. Head injuries were received by Mr. Patrick Kelly, aged 73, a widower, of Barrack Road, Mount Wellington, when he fell from his cart. His condition was stated to-day to be not serious. Roy Arkles, aged six, of 11, Richardson Road, Mount Albert, lacerated his left leg in falling from a stone wall. William Noble, aged 14, of Halesowen Avenue, collided with a stationary motor car while riding a. bicycle along Lome Street. He received head injuries, but his condition was stated to-day to be not serious. Mr. Lionel Thomas, aged 22, of Gardener Terrace, Mount Albert, suffered a stroke in the street. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. His condition was satisfactory to-day. Mr. Thomas Dunn, married, aged 61, of 5, Franklin Road, Ponsonby, had one leg fractured when he was knocked down by a cyclist while he was crossing at the corner of Albert Street and Queen Street.
An infant, Robert C. 'Lawrence, of Chatham Street, Mount Eden, fell from a couch at his home about 9 o'clock last night.
