ADMITTED BURGLARY.

LABOUEEK FOR SENTENCE. , Pleading guilty to a charge of breaking and entering by night the house of Mrs. Edith Seddon, 7, Grange Road, Mount Eden, and stealing a suitcase and sundry household articles valued at £25 15/, Eric William Lindon, a labourer, aged 23, -was yesterday committed by Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., to the Supreme Court for sentence. After admitting the offence, accused said he was out of a job and found it difficult to get anything to do. He had nowhere to go, and broke into the house because he wanted somewhere to sleep. Accused admitted that he forced his way into the house by breaking a builtin meat safe and crawling through it into the kitchen. He had told Constable Hunt that he had noticed the door of the house open and had entered to see if anything was wrong.
