NEW ORGAN DEDICATED. CEREMONY AT ST. PAUL'S. The dedication of the new pipe organ recently installed in St. Paul's Mothoist Chnrcli, Renmera. through the generosity of Mrs. Percy Winstone, organist of the cliurch, took place yesterday morning, the minister being the Rev. J. H. Allen. On this occasion, which was annual choir day, special singing was given under the acting-choirmaster, Mr. G. H. Gapper. At the close of the dedication Mrs. Winstone was presented with a gold key with which to unlock the organ. Solos were given at the morning and evening services by Madame Aileen Johns. Miss Patricia McLeod and Messrs. E. I. Keys and A. E. Petty. There will be a special organ recital to-morrow evening by Mr. Edgar Randal, organist at !St. Mary's Cathedral. He will be assisted by Miss Phyllis Hazell, contralto, and Miss E. Coleman, soprano. SACRED HEART COLLEGE. ANNUAL PROCESSION. Butween 3000 and 4000 people attended the annual procession of the Blessed Sacrament at the Sacred Heart Convent yesterday, which was the feast of Christ the King. The convent grounds were decorated with bunting and sacred emblems. Monsignor Call ill, who carried the Blessed Sacrament, gave the benedictions. He was assisted by Fathers O'Neill and O'Byrne. Boys from the Sacred Heart College sang the responses. MUSIC SERVICE ON "ELIJAH." At Mount Eden Presbyterian Church last evening the service centred round the life of Elijah. The preacher, Mr. F. A. Garry, narrated briefly the dramatic episodes of Elijah's life in the carrying out of the Divine commands of God. The musical part of the service consisted of excerpts from Mendelssohn's oratorio "Elijah." Recitatives and arias were sung by Misses O. W. Thomas, soprano, N. J oil, contralto, and Messrs. L. Harvey, tenor, and J. Ramsay, baritone. The solo. "O Rest in the Lord," was sung by Miss Joll. A large choir rendered four anthems from the oratorio. Mr. Lambert Harvey conducted, and Mr. Eric M. Edgar presided at the organ. PANMURE ANGLICANS. St. Matthias' Anglican Church, Paninure, continued its eighty-first anniversary celebrations yesterday with special services. The morning preacher was Archdeacon Simkin. The vicar, the Rev. J. R. Stanton, during the course of the celebrations, outlined plans for the coming year, emphasising the inclusion of young people in Church activities.
