MOTOR CYCLIST THROWN.

SKID EST LOOSE ROAD METAL. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. ■While on the way to Kaikohe yesterday a motor cyclist, lan Wernham, aged 31, of Mount Eden, Auckland, skidded badly in loose metal and was thrown from his machine. He broke both bones in his right leg. Mr. Wernham was picked up by a passing motor car and the St. John Ambulance was summoned from Whangarei, in which he was taken to hospital. His condition is reported to be satisfactory.
