COLLAPSE IN MOTOR CAR.
RETIRED FARMER'S DEATH. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) GISBORNE, Saturday. The death occurred to-day under tragic circumstances of Mr. George William Tiffen, a retired sheep farmer. He entered his car to drive to Gisbornc, and, after backing across the road, lost control. The car rolled into the ditch, and Mr. Tiffen was found in a of collapse. He died within a few minutes. He was a son of Mr. F. J. Tiffen, of Hawke's Bay, and ie survived by Ms wife, three sons and two daughters.
