THE PRINCE'S CUFF LINKS.
The Prince of Wales lias started a new stylo in cuff links, for day wear. The links consist of three small rings of thin platinum and two large ones joined by a smaller central circle, which acts as the actual "link." They have the double merit of looking plain and smart and of being easy to "thread" through buttonholes. H.R.H. has recently received a very interesting gift from a native chief in West Africa. This is a short ceremonial stick of exquisitely worked ivory and ebony, surmounted by a ball of ivory. Although the Prince is not likely to use it—he rarely carries a walking cane of any kind—it occupies a place of honour in the collection of curios and gifts which he has received on liis travels in all parts of the world.
