PRINCIPAL AMOUNTS STATED.

(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Friday. fcFunds raised during the war period for patriotic purposes which are still m existence have assets totalling £998,967, states the annual report of the Department of Internal Affairs, which was presented to Parliament to-day. The principal amounts are as follow: — National War Funds Council, £157,345; ass eta of 28 incorporated societies, £620,842; seven red cross organisations, : £113,6871 blind soldiers and veterans' homes funds, 'J£76,396.
