BOTH INJURED IN STREET.

KNOCKED DOWN BY CYCLE. MAN" AND WIFE IN" HOSPITAL. Crossing a street in Ponsonby about 10.30. last night, a man and his wile were knocked down by a cycliot, am suffered head injuries. They v crc - '• and Mrs. G. E. Griffiths, a middle-aged couple, of 75, Lincoln Stieet, onson j. Both were taken to hospital by the St. John Ambulance. The condition of Mrs. Griffiths was reported this morning to bo only fair, but that of Mr. Griffiths to be satisfactory Both received concussion and are suffering from shock, and Mrs. Griffiths was cut about the face. The accident took place just outside the Western Districts Fire Brigade station. The cyclist, a young also fell, but was not hurt.
