_ Earth tremors in Salonika and the Uhalcidice Peninsula are reported to «ave ceased.
■ Very high praise is given in the Greek ■Press to the British Navy for its .prompt and valuable assistance in aiding the ■homeless and injured during the worst Phase of their sufferings.
. Some of the British warships have **en withdrawa and others will leave Greece this . week. A British cargo steamer has arrived off lerissos with further supplies of condensed milk, bread and other foodstuffs.
