AFFAIRS OF COMPANY.
COMMITTEE TO INVESTIGATE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. An extraordinary meeting of shareholders of the New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Limited, was held to-day. The company had convened the. meeting for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, passing the following reso-' lutions:—(l) That a committee of three shareholders be appointed—(a) to confer with' the board as to their administration policy; (b) to consider the matters raised in the requisition served on the company and the possible effect thereof; (c) to report to a subsequent meeting of shareholders. (2) That the altering of the articles be deferred until the report of the committee has been considered as a subseqxient meeting. The meeting was not open to the Press. A report supplied states: "The appointment of additional directors was held over until a subsequent meeting to be held before the end of November. In the meantime a committee consisting of Messrs. Clark, Macgibbon and Morley, was appointed to investigate the affairs i of the company and report."
