An unusual claim was heard -'at thi Magistrate's Court this niornhi" , by Mr l E. C. Cutten, S.M., the plaintiff being Emily Moon, who sued the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals for 10/. - v
Counsel for plaintiff explained that tha society passed a resolution making the president of the ladies' committee an ex officio member of the executive. Under the Incorporated Societies Act.the Sew,.. lution was an amendment of the cemafitution, and should be registered. Oppo- I sition came from certain quarters, anil J the amendment was not registered-by the executive. Three of the lady m&nbere registered, in accordance with the •■ Act, and the fee of 10/ was paid br - plaintiff. -• ' V
