ANOTHER CHANGE.
PRESIDENCY OF CHILE. ► SANTIAGO, October 2. In order to avert a civil war threatened by the northern State of Antofagasta, which is opposed to a continuation of the military Government, General Bartolome Blanche (who has been acting as President since the provisional President, General Carlos Davila,' was forced out of office last month) and the members of his Cabinet resigned last evening. Senor Abraham Oyanedel, president of the Supreme Court, has been requested to take the oath of office.
