ADELPHI THEATRE.

CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP ANNOUNCED. One more theatre 'has been added to the Amalgamated Theatres chain. The company announces that it has taken over the Adelphi Theatre, Grey Lynn, which it will operate as from Monday next. The company has now twenty theatres. The management states that the advantage of a large circuit is that it enables a wider ecope for the selection of pictures, and allows of their screening immediately after Queen Street runs. Mr. Rud Petersen has been appointed manager of the Adelphi. He has had a wide experience of the picture business. The opening programme will be announced in. the "Auckland Star" on Monday,
