WOMAN SENT TO GAOL. "This woman has been associating with, some of the worst undesirables in Auckland and lias been drinking in ihotel bars with. Chinese," eaid Detective Sergeant Kelly, referring to Hilda Gilkes, aged 32, -who appeared in tho Police Court this morning. Accused pleaded guilty to a charge deeming iher to be a rogue and vagabond with insufficient means of support. Gilkes, who had a number of previous convictions and had been given many chances in the past, was sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
