HIGHWAYS MAINTENANCE.
NORTH AUCKLAND PROTEST. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, Friday. At the request of the members of the North Auckland Counties' Association, the president, Mr. Luke Webb, has forwarded to the Minister of Public Works a strong protest concerning the reduction of the amount for highways maintenance. The executive of the New Zealand Farmers' Union has been requested to eupport the protest
