RATS!
• An authority on rats declares that they possess a sense of filial duty. Recently he managed to clear a ratinfested estate of all but two of the rodents. One evening before d : usk, while fishing, he eaw the two rats swim across the river and return shortly afterwards with a third rat. He discovered that this happened every evening at the same time. Eventually he shot two of the rats on their return journey. The third rat ewam round and round until he was caught alive in a landing net. He was an old dog rat, quite blind. It is believed that every evening the other two used to guide Mm to his meal. w ._,
