ALL NATIONS NIGHT.
Special decorations struck an appropriate note for "All Nations Night" at Dixieland Cabaret on Thursday evening. Coloured lights and balloons were suspended overhead, and trails of foliage and banks of ferns and palms transformed the ballroom into a refreshing bower, while breezes from the ocean were wafted in from the windows. The orchestra, under Mr. Doug. Armishaw's direction, each represented " a country, and the flags of all nations were draped around the dais and the cubicles. Cosmopolitan airs were separately played by the band, and in between intervals clever expositions of national dancing were given by Miss O'Leary's pupils, while a ballet presented by Miss Cecil Hall was another delightful feature. Specialty dances by Miss Muriel Wilton were also part of the programme. There was a very large attendance.
