PRICES AT SMITHFIELD. The Bank of New Zealand has received t : ic following advice from its London office .-« at the close of business this week:— Wethers: There is only a poor deinandi. Ewes: The market is quiet and unchanged. Lambs: The market is easier owing to competition from other sources, and is affected by heavy supplies of home killed. Wethers: Light. 3%d to 3%d per lb; heavy, 2%d to 3%d. Ewes: 2d to 2%d. Lmnbs: Twos, 4%d to 5%d; eights. 4%d to sd; fours» 4d to 4%d; seconds, 4%d to 4%d.
