COALITION CAUCUS.
"VERY SATISFACTORY."
PRIME MINISTER'S COMMENT. RESOLUTION OF CONFIDENCE. (By Telegraph.— rarliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. The first caucus of the Coalition party was held this morning and lasted two hours. A motion of continued confidence in the Coalition was carried. "It was a very satisfactory meeting," said the Prime Minister. ''We discussed the wo*k to be done this session, and after that Mr. Coates addressed the meeting on the work done at Ottawa. Members expressed their satisfaction at the way in which Mr. Coates had represented New Zealand at Ottawa." The following resolution was carried: "On the anniversary of the formation of the Coalition Government this caucus of members expresses its entire satisfaction that the course adopted was in the national interest, and records its contimied- loyalty to the Government." "The whole of the discussions -were of a very friendly nature," added Mr. Forbes, "and there was no discordant note. All the Government members in Wellington attended."
