TBei ■ Farmers' Trading Company's Pukekohe store was/entered by. burglars last -night, and about £60 worth of drapery, mercery, shoes, . hardware, groceries; tobacco and cigarettes, was stolen. ~ The safe,-, which contained a large sum. of money, was '"dynamited, , but owing: to- the staff's inability to open the'.safe it is not known yet whether the-contents a:\j intact. Entrance was gained through the hardware department door, the lock being broken.
The burglary appears to be the work of professionals. The police are investigating.
