WRESTLING.
WALKER V. KARASICK. Interest in the Walker-Karasick wrestling match at the Town Hall on Monday evening has been increased by the fact that Mamos, with whom Walker had a draw, also drew with Karasick last night, confirming the belief that these wrestlers are particularly well-matched. Karasick has had a series of hard bouts since he last met Walker, while the latter is in very much better condition than he was then. A challenge to the winner of the match has come, rather unexpectedly, from the Maori wrestler Toa Kaha, otherwise known locally as George Gardiner. This Aucklander declares himself bo confident, after having worked out with Mamos, that he is willing to meet Karasick on a winner-take-all basis. For the Walker-Karasick > bout the following amateur preliminaries haive been arranged:—H. Marshall (Broadway Gymnasium), Bst 71b, v. A. Hasson ,Akarana), Bst; B. Thomas (Bayvicw). flst 10lb, v. M.
