The first round of the South Auckland golf championship was decided on the St. Andrew's links at Hamilton this morning. W. Wynne (Hamilton) besides registering threes at the sixth, tenth, twelfth and fourteenth holes, rang on "birdie" fours at the second, thirteenth and eighteenth. Results:— Championship.—J. L.
