It is understood that the duty on U.S. coal will be increased from 40 to CO cents. This will benefit the Welsh product under the conference treaty. ROCKBOTTOM. HERTZOG- AND DEPRESSION. The Prime Minister, General Hertzog, opening the Debtors and Creditors Conference, declared: "If we have not completely turned the corner, we have reached rockbottoim of the depression."
