K. Hunt, S.M., in tne police Gourtithis morning. ■ ... r Detective Sergeant Kelly eaid accused only recently emerged from prison after serving a six months' sentence for.theft. Since Jie-left gaol- Tipuru had been drinking heavily. He had been warned that there was no money in his account at the bank/yet he issued the valueless cheques.
