ACCESS TO GISBORNE
Tl'c last link in completing an allweather road from Gisborne to Opotiki is now under way, and tile "provision of three bridges near Otoko will enable motorists to travel over the road after heavy rain, whereas for years a portion of the route has been impassable. Word has been received by the Auckland Automobile Association that it is likely these bridges will be completed by Christmas. < ■
