The cricket match between the Indians and Warwickshire was drawn. The visitors scored 252 and 344 for eight wickets, declared (Nayudu 162, Marshall 102 not out). The county's innings were 354 and 110 for three wickets (after being set to make 273 to win). In the latest series ol county matches Somerset had a victory over Lancashire, at Weston-super-Mare. Freeman took 13 wickets for 84 for Kent against Glamorgan. Many .other bowlers also secured Jine figures, Goddard (Gloucester) getting seven for 19 against Middlesex. The century list included Arthur Staples, Leyland, Ames, Gibbons and Sinfield. Scores: — Notts: First innings, 290 (A. Staples 100); second, two for 203, declared.
