ENGLISH CRICKET. Somerset Beats Lancashire in Low-Scoring Game. TWO INDIAN CENTURIANS. (United P.A.—Electric Telegraph—Copyright) (Received 11 a.m.) LONDON, August 5. The cricket match between the Indians and Warwickshire was drawn. The visitors scored 252 and 344 for eight wickets, declared (Nayudu 162, Marshall 102 not out). The county's innings were 354 and 110 for three wickets (after being set to make 273 to win). In the latest series ol county matches Somerset had a victory over Lancashire, at Weston-super-Mare. Freeman took 13 wickets for 84 for Kent against Glamorgan. Many .other bowlers also secured Jine figures, Goddard (Gloucester) getting seven for 19 against Middlesex. The century list included Arthur Staples, Leyland, Ames, Gibbons and Sinfield. Scores: — Notts: First innings, 290 (A. Staples 100); second, two for 203, declared. Kssex: First innings, 196; second, four for 203. Notts won on the first innings. Surrey: First innings, 275 (Sandham 92); second, 131. Hampshire: First innings, 137; second, 140 (F. R. Brown six for 32). Surrey won by 129 runs. Yorkshire: First innings, 3G5 (Leyland 153; Smith five for 80). Leicester: First innings, 155; follow-on, 141. Yorkshire won by an innings and 09 runs. Somerset: First innings, 94 (Booth four for 32); second, 151 (Sibbles five for 55). Lancashire: First innings, 102 (White six for 46); second, 92 (Wellard four for 10). Somerset won by 51 runs. Kent: First innings, 376 (Ames 130). Glamorgan: First innings, 118 (Freeman seven for 42); follow-on, 89 (Freeman six for 42). Kent won by an innings and 109 runs. Derby: First innings, 260; second, nine for 237, declared. Worcester: First innings, 175;- second, five for 227 (Gibbons 101 not out). Derby won on the first innings. Middlesex: First innings, 177 (Hammond four for 37); second, 63 (Goddard seven for 19). Gloucester: First innings, 334 (Sinfield 122). Gloucester won by an innings and 94 runs. Northants: First innings, 99 (Wensley four for 29);' second, 211 (J. Parks four for 20). Sussex: First innings, 176 (Clark five for 48); second, four for 135. Sussex won by six wickets.
