'VARSITIES' ANNUAL RACE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CIJ"ISTCHURCH, this day. The annual teams race between Otago University and Canterbury College for the South Island University harrier challenge cup was held yesterday afternoon and resulted in a win for Otago bv 23 points to 32. Th« course of 6J miles was covered with melting snow, which was a serious handicap ou cultivated ground and on the hills. A. P. Thompson (Canterbury) and A. rt M>taco) were in the lead throughout, the latter winning bv lovds. K. Harris (Otago) was third and L. S. Bambery (Canterbury) fourth. The winner's time was 41m 23 4-ss.
