SECURE MINING INVESTMENT.

The Moonlight Extended Gold Sluicing Company, Limited, operating at Moonlight, Shotover District, Central Otago, offers for public subscription a limited number of two shilling shares, the payments being threepence on application, threepence on allotment, and the balance in calls of threepence at intervals of not less than one month. The area is recognised by many as being the finest sluicing proposition in Otago. The auriferous gravels are not cemented. The company owns the only available water-right suitable for continuous sluicing, and thus commands the largest area of virgin gold bearing sluicing ground in Otago. The Moonlight is one of the richest tributaries of the famous Shotover. The operations of the only other company sluicing in this valley have proved very profitable in spite of a shortage of water, which reduces actual sluicing to a few hours daily, yet their operations (at least four miles below the Moonlight Extended claim) have proved the ground to be worth close on £3000 an acre. Alluvial ground is always richer the nearer the claim to the source of the gold, and it is quite possible that this company's claim will be worth £0000 per acre. The Moonlight Extended Company is an Auckland company, which has already gone to allotment and is in active operation. A considerable portion of the work necessary to bring the claim to a producing stage has been completed. Investors should note that sluicing is the cheapest and most economical method of winning gold—no expensive machinery being required. Prospectuses, application forms, and any other information required can be obtained from the office of the company, Chambers, Worth and Chambers, 23, Shortland Street, Auckland, or from any member of the Auckland Stock Exchange. :
