TWELVE DEGREES AT RUAKURA. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. The severest frost this winter was experienced this morning at Ruakura, 12.5 degrees being recorded. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. A record frost was experienced at Opotiki this morning. Yesterday a cold southerly wind blew off the enow on the highlands, and soon after sunset freezing conditions set in. Water pipes were frozen during the night, and thick ice formed on pools.
