DIOCESAN OLD GIRLS.

One- of the most successful functions of the eeason was the annual dance of the Diocesan High School Old Girls' Association, which was held in the Peter Pan Cabaret last evening. The floor was thronged with dancers, and eo large was the attendance that extra tables and chairs had to be placed around the dance floor. The scene presented was one of brightness and gaiety. The hidden lights shed a soft glow on the many pretty frocks that were to be seen, and excellent music made things go with a swing from start to finish. A bright splash of colour was supplied by bowls of daffodils and Iceland poppies, which were set on the tables in the cubicles and around the floor, while a similar scheme was used with effect in the supper room. On their arrival the guests were received by Mies E. Roberton, president of the Old Girls' ; Association, who wore a frock of draped champagne lace, and by Mrs. V. P.
