TRANSPORT CLUB.
The fourth social of the year of the Auckland Transport Club was held at the Peter Pan Cabaret on Thursday evening, and was attended by members of the English Rugby League touring team, and Mre. Haigh, of the English Rugby League party. ( The function was the most brilliant gathering the club has held, and with special decorations and the Peter Pan orchestra supplying the latest dance numbers, a thoroughly enjoyable evening was passed. Foster, vieux rose eatin and black lace; Mrs. W. Everitt, black crepe fleuri; Mrs. J. Parks, black lace and georgette; Mrs. Burnett, black flowered crepe de soie; Mrs. P. Roper, black silk lace; Mrs. J. Ryan, blue ninon; Mrs. Kirk, roee pink georgette; Mrs. F. Spain, brown panne velvet and. lace; Mrs. L.
